New website for Key Cities
Place, Tech, Communications

The new website of Key Cities – the UK’s largest urban network with 25 member cities and towns all over the country, was launched at www.keycities.uk on 14 June. Designed and built by Images&Co, the site offers a portal to the network’s activities in policy development, coordination and engagement with Government, with easy access to news and views, events, research data and publications, as well as to the work of the Key Cities All-Party Parliamentary Group and the Innovation Network.

We worked closely with our partners ING Media during development to ensure the site is integrated with the network’s social channels.

The site is built in WordPress 5.9, using Elementor 3.5.6 and Elementor Pro 3.6.4 for static content, and WordPress CMS for dynamic content posts to achieve optimal balance between ease of content management with flexible control over the user experience, and it is compliant with the WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standard. Design is by Malcolm Garrett and Kasper de Graaf and the development was led by Alasdair Scott, with project management by Clare Kristensen.
